nope not really...I don't have AOL here at my house but I have AIM...AOL is just the ISP. AIM is a messaging service. I use AIM express while here at the house. Don't have to download anything. It is just used in another internet browser

AIM is AOL Instant Messenger.

AOL may be an ISP (and a [censored] one at that), but the IM service is available to all.
